Daniel Hernandez Outraises Primary Field In End-Of-Year Report

Strong fundraising quarter comes on the heels of Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC’s endorsement

Tucson, AZ – Today, congressional candidate Daniel Hernandez announced he raised $234,000 in the final quarter of 2021, outraising the Democratic primary field. In addition to his strong fundraising, Hernandez closed out the quarter with an endorsement from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC. The momentum behind Hernandez’s campaign comes as the GOP primary is evolving into a damaging race to the right with the entrance of State Senator Kelly Townsend. With the redistricting process complete in a district that supported President Biden by less than one point, Hernandez’s record of working across the aisle and delivering results for Arizonans will be critical to winning this November.

Additionally, Daniel has received the endorsement of Latino Victory Fund, LGBTQ Victory Fund, Equality PAC and Pro-Israel America. Daniel is proud to have the support of three unions including the Boilermakers 627, Laborers 1184, and the Arizona Federation of Teachers. His campaign has also been endorsed by four members of congress — Representatives Ritchie Torres, Norma Torres, Mark Takano, and David Cicilline.

“We are blown away by the support Daniel received last quarter,” said campaign manager Sarah Robinson. “Daniel’s message of strengthening the economy and growing job opportunities at home is clearly resonating in the community. With Donald Trump’s candidate Kelly Townsend entering the race, it is now imperative to elect a proven problem solver like Daniel to keep this seat in Democratic hands.”
