Tucson, Arizona – Today, two members of the U.S. House of Representatives announced their support for Daniel Hernandez’s campaign for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District.
These members understand the urgency for new bold leadership in Washington that prioritizes the needs of the district and devises new tactics to resist the current administration and get stuff done. They understand that doing what’s right is rarely the same as doing what’s easy.
The endorsements come as momentum and fundraising builds for Daniel Hernandez. Every day more local, state, and national leaders and organizations announce their support for his campaign.
Representative Ritchie Torres (NY-15) released the following statement:
“Daniel Hernandez is the embodiment of the American dream, rising from humble beginnings to a life of public service. He is no stranger to the people of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, having served them in the state legislature and on the school board. A survivor of gun violence, Daniel would bring to Congress a personal resilience and lived experience that few candidates possess. At a time when antisemitism is rising here at home and abroad, Daniel stands out as a steadfast ally of both the Jewish people and the Jewish State. I am proud to endorse Daniel as he seeks to bring his moral clarity, courage, and commitment to the halls of Congress.”
Representative Eric Sorenson (IL-17) released the following statement:
“Daniel Hernandez is a proven leader who puts people over politics and delivers real results for his community. I’m proud to endorse Daniel because we need more compassionate, effective voices like his in Congress.”
